Description:

When a user tries to display the Backup Source list in the Rhinoback software nothing is displayed in the right pane. When users try to create a new Backup Set with the new Backup Set wizard the software will appear to freeze or the application crashes completly.

The Network Magic software is distributed by Cisco Systems and is designed to assist users in diagnosting and troubleshooting network connections. This software comes preinstalled by computer manufactures on many new computers.

Cause:

Affected systems have the Network Magic software installed which prevents the Rhinoback software from accessing the local file system.

Solution:

Uninstall the Network Magic software and reboot the computer.
