Q10129 - HOWTO: How to setup Rhinoback to perform mailbox level backups of Exchange 2007

There are 5 Steps to setup Rhinoback to Exchange Server 2007 mailbox level (brick-level) backup.

1. Download Rhinoback v5.2.2.3 or above from rhinoback.com
Important: You must use Rhinoback java 1.6 32-bit version
2. Install the Rhinoback client software on the exchange server.
3. Copy ESEBCLI2.DLL from Exchange Server 2003 CD to C:\Windows\System. ESEBCLI2.DLL can be found in x:\SETUP\I386\EXCHANGE\BIN where x: is the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive
Note:If you don't have access to ESEBCLI2.DLL, please contact your solution provider.
4. Download Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1 (ExchangeMAPICdo.exe) from
   http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=E17E7F31-079A-43A9-BFF2-0A110307611E&displaylang=en
5. Install Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1 on the exchange server

Remarks: Since Exchange MAPI only has 32-bit version and it is impossible to run both 32-bit and 64-bit modules in one single process. You need to use 32-bit Rhinoback software together with 32-bit MAPI and 32-bit ESEBCLI2.DLL to backup exchange server 2007.
