Free Account Removal Policy

Rhinoback Free accounts do not expire and can be used indefinitely. 

Due to the popularity of the Rhinoback free backup accounts, we periodically clean up space utilized by free accounts that are not being used.   We routinely remove free accounts that have not been used for 30 days or more.  We will also remove free accounts that have not backed up any data within 5 days of creation. 

Important: If your free account has not had a successful backup in over 30 days, then it may be removed to free up space.  This includes accounts that max out the quota.  If your free account is over quota, then you must either upgrade to a paid account or remove some files from your backup so that your backup job will run successfully.
