Do I need any special firewall settings to use Rhinoback?

Rhinoback only uses ports 80 and 443.  These ports are already allowed on almost every firewall for outbound connections.  If your computer can access the internet, then it is also capable of using Rhinoback.

Rhinoback is designed so that the Rhinoback Manager software on the local computer contacts the backup servers to initiate a backup job.  Since the connection is made from inside the firewall to the external backup server, most firewalls are already configured to allow this activity.
