Missed backup report, but backup job actually ran

Problem:

Missed backup reports are being generated for backup jobs that actually ran according to the schedule.  This can happen regardless of how the backup job ended.

Cause:

The most likely cause of this problem is the time or the timezone setting on the local computer is not correct.  The local computer can run the backup job according to the schedule, but since the local computer is using the incorrect time, the server will expect the job to be started at a different time.

Solution:

Set the time and timezone on the local computer correctly.
